Our resident Head Coach for Football, Jaafer Aramkuni is an accomplished football player and an experienced international football coach. Jaafer has had an illustrious career as a professional football player, spanning over a decade.
He is a renowned Asian Football Confederation’s (AFC) ‘B’ License Certified Coach, and carries many international football coaching exposure including ‘C’ License from Qatar Football Association at Technical Olympic, Level One Goal Keeping Coaching Certification, and has excelled Football Coaches Training Programs by Sports & Education Promotion Trust (SEPT) under the following international coaches – ‘A’ License Coach Mr. Marcel Van Dijk (UEFA), Total Soccer Development Solution TSDS (Holland), Mr. Luiz Greco, Director of Soccer (Brazil), Mr. Gopalakrishnan, Head of Coaches Education- Football Association (Malaysia), Mr. Voker Jung, Chief Instructor, Technical Director of FC KEMPTON (Germany), and Mr. Luiz Greco, Director of Soccer expert (Brazil).
Jaafer received the Best Football Player Award – Father Vergottini Award (2003-2004), has played for National Football League for the State bank of Travancore (2004-2005), attended 4 years Santhosh Trophy Camp (2004-2008), represented the Kerala Youth Team twice, and Kerala School Team (1998-1999), and played in the Calicut District League for 10 years.
Jaafer’s extensive coaching experience as a coach in various capacities includes Sports & Education Promotion Trust (SEPT) a Grassroot Football Nursery in Kerala, Daya Puram School, Calicut, Farook H.S.S. Feroke College, Calicut, Calicut District Teams (Under-19, Under-16, and Under-14), Head Coach for the Kerala Blasters Grassroot Football Partner Scoreline, and Kick-Off Football Program organized by the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affair (Govt. of Kerala – DSYA).
